Running since 1992, the Bath Fringe is one of the city’s leading festivals offering over two weeks of brilliant events. From street parties, comedy, film and keynote speakers to theatre, cabaret, music, poetry and kids’ events, there’s something for everyone at the Fringe.
The events take place across the city, including at the beautiful Prior Park, with a mix of paid and free events from 27 May until 12 June 2016.
Highlights include Steam’s Urban Playground parkour show in Green Park Station and an eclectic mix of alternative theatre hosted throughout the Fringe at Burdall’s Yard.
You can even catch the Dad’s Army vicar Frank Williams at Widcombe Social Club on Saturday 4 June as Williams takes you through an evening of TV nostalgia and celebrates a lifetime on stage.
John Hewer, with the kind support of The Tommy Estate and Vicky Cooper, presents ‘Just Like That! The Tommy Cooper Show’ at the Rondo Theatre on Friday 10 June. The show has previously enjoyed sell-out success in the West End and Hewer’s take on Tommy Cooper has been described as “a perfect illusion of time travel” – so not one to miss for Cooper fans!
The Bell, just a minute’s walk from Hedgemead Court, opens the Fringe with a special Cabaret night, free to attend from 9pm.
The whole Fringe promises to be an exciting couple of weeks of alternative entertainment, so don’t miss out! Find out more about the festival here, or book your accommodation with us – the No. 1 UK self-catering providers – today.
