We’re excited to announce that the Bath Christmas Market will be returning once again this year. The market opens between 23 November 2017 and 10 December 2017. The official guide to the market will be available to download from their website in early November.

As always with the Bath Christmas Market, availability for somewhere to stay goes fast! There are more hotels than ever before in Bath but if you are looking for a home away from home then we have five Bath-based holiday lets ideal for your visit.

All of our holiday homes are managed by owners Ann & Michael with the help of Nikki and Rob. We’re a small family business dedicated to offering the best stays in Bath. Last year we were named the UK’s best self-catering provider!

In the city we have the newly renovated apartments Hedgemead Court and The Old Smithy Loft. Hedgemead Court is a ground floor apartment snuggled at the top of Hedgemead Park with views down onto Walcot Street. The Old Smithy Loft is hidden away by the Kennet & Avon Canal on Sydney Wharf, offering a setting of tranquillity despite being just a minute’s walk from Pulteney Bridge. Both apartments sleep up to 4 people in 2 master bedrooms, equipped with king size beds.

In the country just ten minutes’ drive from the centre you’ll find the Midford Valley. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this valley is home to our 3 beautiful cottage retreats: Tucking Mill View, Brooks’ View and Fishermen’s Retreat. All three have traditional wood-burning or electric stoves in the living area for those cosy evenings in. Brooks’ View and Fishermen’s Retreat have their own private gardens running down towards the Midford Brook, while Tucking Mill View’s private terrace has the most amazing views out onto the valley.

The three cottages have many walks and cycle routes on their doorstep, including the popular Two Tunnels Greenway. As they all have private parking, they make great hot spots for visiting other attractions such as Lacock, Longleat, Stone Henge and many more.

There’s plenty of things to do and see in Bath alongside the iconic Christmas market. If you would like to find out more then please get in touch with us. We would be very happy to help!
