Located on the River Avon running through Saltford, a lovely little English town between Bath and Keynsham, the Jolly Sailor is well worth the trip. Whether you choose to drive, cycle or hire a boat and take it out to Saltford for the afternoon, the ancient listed public house is waiting to greet you with a warm smile.

The 1726 building has a cosy, classic pub interior and a bright conservatory indoor dining space lead out into the beer garden overlooking the lock and lots of river activity.

The food offering is a mix of light bites and classic pub grub, including an array of roast dinners on a Sunday. On the bar there are a selection of fine ales, beers and wines.

Saltford is approximately 15 minutes’ drive from the city centre apartments, depending on traffic, and around 25 minutes’ drive from the cottage retreats. You can cycle part of the way there via the Two Tunnels Greenway, coming off just after Bath to join the roads. You can book a table by calling 01225873002.
