One of the original artisan cottages located within the Midford Valley, this newly renovated country retreat remains full of original charm, but equally features a few decadent luxuries for your optimum comfort. This historic property dates back to the late 1800s and was originally built for the Somerset Canal workers. Its location makes it ideal for weekend breaks or a longer stay, located only a few miles outside of the historic city of Bath.

Catering with your comfort in mind

Relax in the cosy living area complete with traditional wood burning stove, or choose to unwind in the decadent Victorian roll top claw bath. After a day of exploring, come home to find every need catered for in your self-catering cottage, complete with dishwasher, washing machine, TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi access. End your evening on a high, by delving into the comfort of your luxury king-size bed with a glass of something sparkling in hand.

Enjoy nature’s bounty from your own back garden

Unwind in rural seclusion, with a private south-facing garden leading onto the banks of the Midford and Horsecombe Brooks. Complete with BBQ and outdoor dining area, the garden provides a tranquil space in which to relax and watch the local wildlife. In addition, fly-fishing can also be arranged on request. For those wishing to venture further in the surrounding countryside, you’ll also find yourself perfectly located to several cycle paths and the canal route through from Bath to Bradford on Avon.
