Orchardleigh House & Estate describe themselves as ‘the south west’s ultimate fairytale wedding venue’. It’s understandable to see why given the breathtaking beauty of the place and its multiple awards in the wedding scene.

While they offer accommodation on the stunning estate, we are less than 30 minutes’ drive away near Midford just south of Bath. Our setting is as glorious as Orchardleigh Estate’s and we’re only ten minutes’ drive from Bath city centre, so it’s ideal if you fancy a little holiday of your own just after the wedding.

There’s something about a fabulous wedding and the celebration of romance that inspires you to take some time out for yourself. We have three gorgeous self-catering cottage retreats on Tucking Mill Lane, with gardens wandering down to the babbling Brook and surrounded in English countryside.

Our prices are pretty great too, starting from just £115/night for a self-catering cottage means you get a lot of quality for your pounds. As lovely as the rooms at the Orchardleigh are, in our cottages you’re equipped with your own private living area, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen so you can enjoy a “home away from home” freedom.

We love Orchardleigh and think that they put on some of the most exciting weddings in the region. We’re proud that some of the guests who celebrate there come and stay with us, combining the big day with a holiday of their own. So if you’re booked along to a wedding at Orchardleigh some day soon, why not think about booking a stay with Tucking Mill? We’d love to welcome you.
