Next to the Newbridge Park & Ride, sitting on the River Avon, is the large and characterful Boathouse pub. Extensive outdoor gardens and a large, family-friendly interior space make this pub a hotspot for locals, businesses and tourists alike. Children have a lot of room to play outdoors too.

The Boathouse is part of a chain, so you can enjoy a good value hearty meal here from breakfast right through ’til dinner. There’s a variety of local beers as well as all the classic tipples and a fairly good wine list. You can enjoy your food and tipple outdoors and watch rowers go by on the river.

Just 10 minutes’ drive from the city centre apartments and around 20 minutes away from the rural cottages by car, it’s worth stopping by if you’re planning a visit out to Wells or Bristol from Bath. It’s also en-route to the Bristol Airport, so could make a fab stop off for breakfast before your flight home.

To book, give them a call on 01225482584.
